Champagne de Venoge

The cuvées

SINCE 1837

The origins

Foundation of the House
Henri-Marc emigrated from his native Canton of Vaud to Champagne and founded “de Venoge & Cie” in 1837 with his son Joseph.
The Cordon Bleu was adopted as the emblem of the House, in reference to the river Venoge and the Order of the Holy Spirit, the most famous order of chivalry of the French monarchy.
In 1838 Henri-Marc achieved a genuine “marketing” breakthrough by creating the very first colourful, illustrated label in Champagne history.
